Raw materials from Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture are handwoven together on a floor loom to create a tapestry for Blue Hill.
Wool from Stone Barns’ Finn Dorset/Shropshire Sheep and dried wheats are woven along side horsehair from Winterburn Farm.
This piece continues the dialogue between the Stone Barns Center and Blue Hill restaurant connecting us to locally sourced natural elements on the farm, and reflecting upon the use of slow tools.
