Raw materials from Stone Barns Center for Food and Agricultural are handwoven together on a floor loom to create a tapestry for the Blue Hill private dining room. 

 

Wool sheering from Stone Barns’ Finn Dorset / Shropshire Sheep and dried wheats are woven along side horsehair from Winterburn Farm.

 

This piece continues the dialogue between the Stone Barns Center and Blue Hill restaurant connecting the guests to natural elements on the farm, and reflecting on the use of slow tools.
